The Pittsburgh Steelers activated star linebacker T.J. Watt on Saturday after just five days in COVID-19 protocols.
Watt, who tested positive on Monday, received consecutive negative tests on Friday and Saturday.
He is expected to play in Sunday's AFC North clash between the host Steelers (5-5-1) and Baltimore Ravens (8-3).
Watt, 27, ranks second in the NFL with 12.5 sacks and has 41 tackles, 20 quarterback hits, three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries in nine games this season.
The three-time Pro Bowl selection has 62 career sacks in 71 games (all starts).
Just before the season, Watt inked a four-year, $112 million contract extension that made him the NFL's highest-paid defensive player. He is a two-time All-Pro and was the runner-up for NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 2020.
