CBS Sports' top 10 offseason moves (so far)
The start of free agency two weeks ago led to a flurry of moves.
Only 20 players remain available from NFL.com's list ofthe top 101 free agents. The Giants agreed to several players from NFL.com's list, including cornerback Paulson Adebo, who was one of the first players the team reportedly agreed to a deal with once the negotiating period opened on March 10.
CBS Sports' Cody Benjamin recently broke downthe top 10 offseason moves so far, which featured the Giants' signing of Adebo at No. 4.
"Despite missing 10 games in his final season with the New Orleans Saints, Adebo has totaled seven picks and 28 pass breakups since 2023 alone," wrote Benjamin. "Ranked 16th among all cornerbacks in forced incompletions since 2021, per PFF, he could be a lockdown No. 1."
Adebo has started 51 of 52 games over the last four seasons for the Saints. He registered a total of 10 interceptions and 43 passes defensed during his time in New Orleans, which led to the 25-year-old developing the reputation of being a ballhawk.
The 6-foot-1, 192-pound corner has at least three interceptions in three of his four seasons, and those impressive stats since 2023 that Benjamin noted above (seven INT, 28 PD) came in only 22 games.
He was able to rack up three takeaways in just seven games last season before a broken leg cut his season short, while his 18 pass breakups in 2023 were the third-most in the league.
