FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. The Atlanta Falcons' 2025 schedule has been released, and the team is slated for a high-visibility fall.
The Falcons have five prime-time games on the docket for 2025 in addition to their international game in Week 10 against the Indianapolis Colts in Berlin, Germany. That means there will be six matchups for Atlanta in a national-viewing window, setting the Falcons up for a big season.
Atlanta's turn in the spotlight begins in Week 2, when it travels to Minnesota for a rematch against the Vikings. U.S. Bank Stadium is a difficult venue for any team, let alone in a prime-time environment. But the Falcons faced similar circumstances in 2024, when they played the Philadelphia Eagles on "Monday Night Football" in Week 2. They emerged with a 22-21 victory against the eventual Super Bowl champions, despite the tough road conditions.

The next national games for Atlanta take place in Weeks 6 and 7. The Buffalo Bills come to Mercedes-Benz Stadium for a Monday-night showdown on October 13 before the Falcons hit the road for a matchup against the San Francisco 49ers on "Sunday Night Football."
Although not technically a prime-time game, the Falcons' Week 10 bout with the Colts will receive national attention as the NFL's first regular season game in Germany. Sandwiched between two AFC opponents and two division opponents, it will be interesting to see how Atlanta handles that trip.
Atlanta then plays the New Orleans Saints for the first time in Week 12 at 4:25 p.m. ET. While not in prime time, that is still an important game for a wider audience.
The next true prime-time game for the Falcons takes place in Week 15. In a rematch of last year's thrilling Thursday-night game, Atlanta will take on Tampa Bay on "Thursday Night Football." The late-season matchup could have division implications for the two teams that battled for the NFC South last year.
After another 4:05 p.m. ET, late-afternoon game against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 16, the Falcons wrap up their prime-time itinerary against the Los Angeles Rams on Monday, December 29 at 8:15 p.m. ET. This is a game that the Rams could be especially interested in after acquiring Atlanta's first-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.
With division games spread throughout the schedule and tough opening and closing stretches, the Falcons will need to be locked in throughout the year. One thing is for certain, though: There will be a lot of eyeballs on Atlanta.
